Glaze Test Tiles
Here's a sample of in-house pottery test tiles we use in studio.
Commercial glazes offered at pottery nights are available in an array of colors, but traditional recipes made in studio have a depth of character and textural quality that distinguishes them as glazes used by professional potters.
These tiles include Blue Rutile, Oatmeal Soda, and a classic White Celadon.
The black specks you see are iron flecks in the clay, and also appear in specific glazes.
White Celadon is known for its crackled appearance. Every glaze is hand-measured and mixed for cone 10 reduction fire.
